Hi.

I know there are a few kayak fisherman in Exmouth and surrounding areas now.
So thought it may be a good idea to start a local thread.
Would be nice to have a chat, and maybe arrange a trip or two.

Anyone else looking on, if your interested pop in for a chat.

A hidden love affair for me, Kayaking but would not know where to get started with it. Been about 4 times before at Haven Banks and loved it.

Hi Dan.

The Kayaks used for fishing ( mostly ) are "Sit on Tops".
As the name implies, you sit on top of the kayak,and not inside a cockpit.
Very easy to use with no complicated rolls or re-entry drills to perfect.
If you fall off, you climb back on, with practice, it realy is that easy.
If you fancy a look at one, or even a paddle, let me know.

I think I could be more than tempted to have a go at one. From what I seem to remember, I was the only one out of my group not to fall out of the ones we used. I still got to book that wetshave you do down at Chapz.

Hi Dan.

just say the word, and ill take you for a spin, got a spare yak....paddle..... and PFD.
You dont have to fish from one, they are also great for touring around and sight seeing.
