Hello Exmouth
Over the last week I have been working hard at some new features on www.exmouthonline.com. This is a thank you in response to over 15 500 people using the site since launch, many of which being in the last few months. Please send me your thoughts on the site so I can further improve it for you.
Exmouth Blog
I have created a Exmouth Blog, a place for all user submitted news to be placed. You can submit your own news via the "Submit News" link on the user menu. You will find the user menu on the right hand side of the home page when logged in. With this feature, you can place your own thoughts on any subject (eg ASDA or the old out door swimming pool), place your ideas or anything you like. Further improvements are planned for this feature depending on feedback.
Forums and Groups
Each group on Exmouth Online now has it's own dedicated forum. To join or create your own group (for a club, business or anything you like) please see the groups link on the user menu when logged in. Each group can also create it's own unique events, perfect for those private groups where events are only for a selected audience.
I have also finished all forum upgrades which includes a latest posts feature on the home page. Just click the title to see the post. There is also a discussion going in the forums about such things like the outdoor swimming pool and the popular "Word Game". Please log in to use the forums.
BayFM
Exmouth Online is now the official sponsor of BayFM's Community Hour. I would like to say a big good luck and a huge well done for the team behind BayFM for all the work they have done so far. Keep it up! You will be able to listen to BayFM during the 19th May 2008 to 1st June 2008, please visit www.bayfm.co.uk for more information.
Schools
I have also improved the information on the schools link of Exmouth Online. The feature now consists of a easy to read table with links to the school websites, emails and phone numbers. If you see any information on this page that is incorrect, please let me know.
