Exmouth is situated on the South Coast of the UK in the county of Devon. Exmouth has a very mild climate compared to the northern reaches of the UK with a mean temperature of 8.8 degrees C, about 1 degree higher than the UK.

Rainfall is slightly higher than the UK average with about 3 hours less sunshine on average each week. Being closer to the sea and situated on a peninsular, the winter temperatures are usually much warmer than the inland of the UK.
